The Executive Office of Health and Human Services is pleased to announce the continuation of regional informational briefings for Massachusetts school personnel on the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) and MassHealth’s six new behavioral health services for children and youth. As you may know, MassHealth’s recently added behavioral health services for children and youth under age 21 offer new resources to support schools in helping students with behavioral health needs. Emily Sherwood, Director of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) in the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and Marty Mittnacht, Director of Special Education for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) hold school personnel briefings in Hyannis, Barre and Northampton.
