The Encyclopedia of Addictive Drugs may interest members of the Massachusetts School Counselors Association. I spent two years examining scientific data in order to produce a handy reference book giving the scientific consensus about 130 abused substances. As you can see from the following highly favorable comments from School Library Journal and the American Library Association's Booklist, the book provides the kind of information that would otherwise take weeks to track down (I know, having done such tracking myself). The information is all here, in this one book. If there is any way for you to alert your membership about this resource, I think they would be glad to know about it.
