The Franklin-Hampshire Guidance Association (FHGA), a bi-county professional organization of school counselors (K-post graduate) and mental health professionals, is a 47 year affiliate of the Massachusetts School Counselors Association (MASCA) and a colleague affiliate with Western MA Counselors Association (WMCA). FHGA's mission is to

1. provide and support WMass professional development opportunities for counseling collegues & mediation advisors;

2. establish collegial networks for colleagues striving to meet the diverse needs of our students and their school communities;

3. and actively promote safe schools providing professional development relating to peaceful conflict management, peer mediation, and other anti-violence initiatives.
